#30BBM Day 5 - Character Board

This was an exercise I couldn't help but share. I love making vision/dream boards and this was an opportunity to create something similar yet different so I was excited to give this a try.

Day 5: Character Board
Your Task: Create Your Character Board!

1. Identify your 5 core ideal traits.

I chose learning new things, eating healthy/exercising, financially educated, creative and organized.

2. Select the format you want for your character board.

I personally like to work on paper when making any type of project like this. I feel there is just so much you can do when you can take the time to cut out images, words and phrases. Plus It's fun to pull out the glue, scissors, stickers, markers, etc and create something out of nothing.

3. Search for images that reflect your ideal traits.

I just went through some magazines I had and cut out pictures, words and phrases that spoke to me.

4. Create your board!

This was the fun part. I love creating something I can enjoy once I'm done. I think my board turned out great.

5. Share your board when you are done!

Ok without further adieu here is my board. I like my board because it is fun and playful. I also like the variety of colors in the different images. Making the board was a good time and really didn't take that long. When I put together something like this I pick pictures that feel good to me. Perhaps I like the colors, maybe it made me laugh or smile when I saw it or maybe it just seemed perfect for what I was looking for.

Yes it's kind of a dark picture but then again it's 11:30pm. :P

Overall this was a fun exercise. My board is a regular size of paper but I love it. It's in a notebook I got during the coaching experience I participated in with Christina. She is amazing and I highly recommend her as a personal coach if you're looking to truly work on improving yourself. She has different plans you can participate in so there's likely to be something for everyone.
