Today my BFF Kim is getting married to Andy. It's going to be beautiful out today. I can't wait to be a part of this special occasion.
Plus it's totally awesome because Kim was a part of my wedding and now I get to be a part of hers. YAY! What a fun and exciting opportunity.
Kim & Andy I wish you lots of love, fun and friendship as you move into this new phase in your relationship. I know you two can handle whatever life throws at you. Good luck and God bless in this fun time in your lives. Cheers!
In my last post I hinted about finishing my goal setting process and identifying my 2018 theme. My theme isn't just an arbitrary word or idea but more of a lens I can look through as I make decisions about what to say yes to, what makes it to the top of the priority list, and what is truly important in my life. For 2018 my theme is Abundance!
Abundance isn't just about being rich or having it all. Abundance to me is being in flow with my life's purpose, being surrounded by love and friendship, and having gratitude for all that I have in my life. Abundance is about trusting that the things we need will come our way and that by expressing gratitude for what we do have we can expand our ability to love and serve others and receive the same in return. I want to make choices that bring me abundance or that allow me to share abundance with others.

So, for me at this point in my life I do find some value in having the knowledge to tackle the things I need most at that time.
When I have the time and space to participate in a full practice I can tell you it's night and day different. A full practice can provide you with the structure you need to find balance. A well structured practice often has seated poses, standing poses, backbends, and maybe even some inversions. It will ensure you're working both the left and right sides of your body equally and will provide you the adequate time to process y…
In my last post I talked about my favorite place in our home being the floor of our master bedroom looking out the window so I'm back to deliver some photos of the view.
I simply adore the view and maybe because of the elevation change on our property (under our room is the walkout basement so it makes our first floor room feel like a second floor room) it feels like we're way up high in there.
I think another reason I love it is because it feels so open and expansive. Like there's no boundaries to what's possible. Literally the sky is the limit. It's like my personal connection to nature watching birds of all sizes, deer with their young, and even the local neighborhood cats (no really I see the same orange cat on our security footage at least once a week - ha ha ha).
I love that I can see the mountains, watch the sunrise, and when it's a day like the 4th of July it's like my own personal fireworks show watching every fireworks display in the Salt Lake val…
