Today my BFF Kim is getting married to Andy. It's going to be beautiful out today. I can't wait to be a part of this special occasion.
Plus it's totally awesome because Kim was a part of my wedding and now I get to be a part of hers. YAY! What a fun and exciting opportunity.
Kim & Andy I wish you lots of love, fun and friendship as you move into this new phase in your relationship. I know you two can handle whatever life throws at you. Good luck and God bless in this fun time in your lives. Cheers!
Things have been a little crazy at work lately. My team member, and friend, who has been with me the longest accepted a wonderful opportunity that was a good career move for her. Sadly for me, that means the process of re-hiring and training a new person. I got lucky and we had an internal candidate that accepted the position which reduces some of the work for me but is still a stressful process. I decided it was time to breathe and relax and look for the little things in life that are beautiful. I found some lovely things in my parents backyard that reminded me that even in a yard that looks mostly dead there are still beautiful things and signs of life.
This week I encourage you to take a moment and look around. Find something beautiful and meaningful to you. It doesn't have to be big because sometimes it's the little things that make life worthwhile.
In case you missed the last Motovated Monday I wanted to make sure you got a dose of Kid President today. Go out there and make today awesome for somebody.
Oh and leave your comment below of something you think we all should say more often. Mine is I love you just the way you are. We're all on a journey and no one is perfect and I feel if more people felt supported as they are they could become everything they were meant to be on their own terms instead of trying to fit in to what society tells them they should be. Follow your dreams people! Let's make the world a better place by being completely, totally, uniquely YOU!

I believe that healing comes in many forms and sometimes you need to tap into multiple modalities to fully heal your mind, body, and soul. Read on to find out what I've been working on over the past year and where it's taking me now...
For me yoga started in my teens where it was something fun because I was flexible and it was easy. I practiced off and on, more off than on, for a number of years until after Russell's traumatic birth situation a friend of mine invited me to practice yoga with her because she needed someone to complete her student teaching with. I was all for some free yoga and for seeing her, as it had been many years at that point, so I figured why not. We practiced one day a week for about an hour and I started to realize that I would leave those sessions feeling like the old me. The…
