Lunch with Hello Kitty

So today for lunch I'm having some brisket that Joe cooked up yesterday.  I'm having it with some rice and some leftover crushed tomato sauce we had from when we made fish.  I also have a kiwi again so I'm happy about that.  It's all pretty healthy and I am being good about measuring out my proportions so I don't accidentally over eat. So far Weight Watchers is doing well and we'll keep on eating better and exercising.

On a brilliantly happy note I wanted to share my Hello Kitty stuff.  I think as an Asian woman it was instilled in me at a young age that I will always love Hello Kitty and all her friends.  Seriously the cult of Hello Kitty may be larger than even the clut of Mac.  Mac users just have their flashy devices to show off but we can put Hello Kitty on anything!  Speaking of which I think my next iPhone cover will have Hello Kitty on it just so I can merge those two cults in my mind.  HA HA HA!!!  Anyway, here are some cute things I have now.  :)

Yep it's Hello Kitty!!!
She's watching you...

My new lunch box, post-its and license plate frame!
I totally love my cute antenna topper and you can see in the bottom pic I have a spare in case some loser decides to steal mine.  :(  GRR!!!  I never get why people have to stoop so low as to steal peoples antenna toppers or car magnets.  I mean REALLY?!?  Are you that lazy/cheap/lame that you just can't go out and get your own?!?  OY!  For now my Hello Kitty topper has remained on my antenna (knock on wood) and hopefully will remain there until the Vegas sun bleaches her to an all white figure...  HA!  That's actually possible...

I also wanted to share that I'm working on getting back into my campaign towards creating a life truly worth living. I want to focus more on my goals and dreams and making them a reality.  I am taking a baby steps approach by simply integrating things a little at a time knowing that in the long run it will pay off.  I'm actually listening to The Slight Edge in my car as of this morning.  I've already heard the CD's and read the book but I find when you're drawn to something perhaps there's a reason you need to explore it again.  I've been able to hook up my iPod (yes I do own TWO Mac devices...) in my new car and every time I've decided what to play I see it in there and kept thinking I should listen to that again.  I figure I'll pick up something that I need to know so I'm turning my car into a drive time university.  HE HE HE...  It should be good as I find I don't have a lot of time to read but hey my commute is probalby around an hour and a half or two hours a day so why not use my time wisely...  Anyway, I'm focusing on remaining positive today and just making it through the last few hours before the weekend.

My weekend idea for now is to work on finishing up my scrapbook and starting my next one.  I find I truly have a love for all things crative and crafty so I'm excited to imortalize our past vactaions.  HA!  I have San Diego stuff and DC so it will be fun.  Anyway, I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!  Thanks to everyone who's been stopping by to read what I have to say.  HUGS from super HOT Las Vegas.  HA HA HA!!!

  1. haha. I love it! I hope somebody doesn't steal it. I'm reading the Happiness Project right now. It's pretty good. You can look up their website too.

  2. OOO I'll definitely check out the book. I'm all about something new and wonderful to read. It's all about making this life as amazing as I can in the time I'm allowed. :)
