It's Hello Kitty Part TWO!

So I've been meaning to post this for a while and since I just posted about my other Hello Kitty stuff I thought that would be a perfect time to come back to this...

More Hello Kitty!
Yes...  It's more Hello Kitty stuff...  I seriously love all things Hello Kitty and doubt I'll ever completly outgrow it.  Besides you've got to stay young somehow right?

Anyway...  This lovely collection of Hello Kitty stuff was sent to me by my bestie BFF Kim.  She's SUPER fabulous and we've been lucky enough to be friends since we went to college oh so long ago.  A little while back I was super stressed and a lot was going on and to my delight this wonderful package showed up.  Divine inspiration?  Perhaps...  Maybe it's just one of those things awesome friends seem to know.  Either way it was exactly what I needed when I needed it and I love it all!  Plus there's the awesome blue and white whiteboard that you can sort of see under the pile of Hello Kitty goodness which totally took me back to the days in the dorms.  Ah the dorms...  I pictured this board would have been something we would have put up in our room or on our door to leave crazy messages to each other on.  Ah the good-ol-days...

I seriously find it amazing that at 18 you're in such a hurry to "grow up" and be an "adult" but if I had it all to do again I would have passed all my classes the first time, took advantage of living at home/in the dorms and I would have finished my degree within the first 5 years out of high school.  Now we're over 10 years out of high school and I STILL don't have a degree.  Heck I'm still up to 2 years from finishing depending on what I decide on.  I have a lot of credits but not really enought to make into a degree sadly.  HA!  Oh well, things happen for a reason right...  It will all work out in the end...  But for anyone reading this who is still young I highly recommend finishing school and traveling the globe before you decide to get married and settled down.  Don't get me wrong I LOVE being married and Joe is an amazing husband but he's traveled to different parts of the world when he was in the Army and now he's finishing school.  I am holding out hope that I'll be one of those people who creates a career I love, makes plenty of money and can travel a ton later in life.

So I must say I <3 my BFF Kim and her wonderful, creative and beautiful soul.  She brightens my life and I know no matter how far we are appart, how long we go between conversations or where our lives may take us I will always love her for all she is and all she adds to my life.  Kim you're the best!!!  And if nothing else at least we both blog so we can stay up to date on what's going on.  HA HA HA!!!  Love you girl!!!

Oh and later I plan to share pictures of my recent haircut (11 inches off and a donation to Locks of Love later...) and my finished wedding guestbook/scrapbook.  It turned out SO cute!

  1. Wait, what! You got a haircut?? Yes, post pics! Must see. I'm so glad you liked the package. I think it is devine inspiration to know when your friend just needs a little something. I'm glad we have that no matter where we live. And you will finish school and you will travel! Sometimes things just happen in a different order than we expect.

  2. PS- That's my new financial blog- I'm keeping in anonymous but I don't mind sharing it with you.

    Luv ya-

  3. I so love your financial blog! I'm going to check it out from home since it's just about closing time. YEAH! I'll post the pics of the haircut too though I can't seem to get a good "after" photo that I'm completely pleased with... HA HA HA!

And yeah all things happen at the right time right?!? At least that's what I am hopeful for. :)
