14 Days of Special K

So today begins 2 weeks of personally funding the Special K empire.  HA HA HA!  By that I mean the Special K diet.  Whoever came up with it is a genius because a lot of their stuff is rather pricy making this 2 week diet quite possibly expensive.  I bought 3 boxes of cereal to add to the 2 partial boxes I had at home.  I also got a box of Special K Fruit Crisps and Protein Water drink mix.  Asside from that I bought more almond milk and some fruit.  Well it is dried fruit and fruit cups because I hate getting fresh and having it go bad.  I did get the lite fruit cups so we'll see how this goes.  As far as I can see on their website you can have fruits and veggies as additional snacks so we'll see how this goes.  Here is my lunch:


One fruit cup, 1 cup of almond milk and 2 servings of blueberry Special K.  Two servings is only 1 1/2 cups of cereal so don't be fooled.  It seriously was a sad amount when I measured it out and to trick my brain I picked a container that looked really full when it was in there so hopefully I can fool myself into thinking I'm eating a lot.  HA!

I am also drinking a lot of water too.  My goal is to drink one cup of water first thing in the AM and last thing after I am done eating for the night.  During the day I'd like to take down 5-6 cups of water but we'll see how that goes.  Some days I do better than others.  I'm also trying to floss at least every other day and we'll see what I decide to do for the exercise portion of all of this.

If you missed it my reasons for doing this are #1 my upcoming honeymoon in 18 weeks and #2 to be healthy.  I miss being in shape and being able to bound up the stairs without being winded.  Seriously I feel like an 80 year old person sometimes.  I shouldn't get as winded/tired as easily as I tend to.  That and I live in VEGAS!  I want to be able to toss on a swimsuit and head to the pool with a friend.  I want to be able to wear shorts and not feel like an elephant walking down the road.  I mean seriously I get that I don't LOOK overweight but if I told you the number on the scale you'd probably pass out.  Most of the time when I'm at the Dr. and they put you on the scale they always start out too low.  Sadly then they have to move the weights up to get my real weight...  I blame it on my shoes...  I should wear steel toed boots the next time so I can really fake out the scale.  HA HA HA!

Anyway I will be looking for a swimsuit I really want and that will be my motivation through all this insanity.  I plan to have the swimsuit as one of my rewards for reaching my goal weight.  I'll post a pic once I find one I want.  :)
