Green Chili Chicken Casserole

Ok so I WAS posting to my blog but it crashed on me so I'm doing this in pieces this time. OY! Here's the recipe for the fabulous food my Mom had waiting for me when I came home to UT on Friday. It's all about being seriously spoiled every time I'm up there. I also had salad and deviled eggs with my casserole. Oh and Mom even saved me some dessert from her friends brunch they had earlier. Can I get a hallelujah?!? MMM!!!

Green Chile Chicken Casserole

1 can chicken broth
1 medium can chopped green chilies
1 cup sour cream
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp powered garlic
18 corn tortilla shells
1 roast chicken shredded - Costco kind
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

350 degree oven. Put first 7 ingredients into a pot mix and heat thru.
In 9 by 13 pan put 1 cup sauce on bottom. Place 6 tortilla on sauce.
Layer with chicken, sauce and cheese. Repeat till all tortilla is used.
Last layer ends with sauce. Cover with tin foil and bake 30 minutes.
Open cover and add rest of cheese just to melt 5 minutes.

Enjoy!!
